Lara Dashboard Pro

Lara Dashboard Pro is the premium upgrade for Lara Dashboard. It adds a layer of security, control, and peace of mind on top of the free core — covering everything from protecting logins with two-step verification to automatic backups, user monitoring, and cloud file storage.

What's Included

🔐 Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

An extra lock on every login. After entering their password, users must also enter a 6-digit code from an authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy) on their phone. Even if a password is stolen, nobody can get in without that second code.

What admins can do:

• See which users have 2FA turned on and which don't
• Require 2FA for a specific user or for everyone at once
• Disable 2FA for a user if they lose access to their phone
• Users can set it up themselves in seconds by scanning a QR code

💾 Automatic Backups

Regularly saves a complete copy of your database and files so you can restore everything if something goes wrong.

What it does:

• Create a backup with one click from the admin panel
• See a list of all saved backups with their size and date
• Delete old backups you no longer need
• Choose where backups are stored — on the same server or in the cloud (Amazon S3)
• Get an email notification when a backup completes or fails

🛡️ User Security & Account Blocking

Lets admins monitor user accounts and immediately shut out anyone who shouldn't have access.

What it does:

• Block any user account instantly — they are logged out and cannot log back in
• Unblock a user just as easily when needed
• Superadmin accounts are protected and cannot be accidentally blocked
• A "Security Controls" panel appears on every user's profile showing their access status and last login time

👤 Login History

Keeps a record of when each user last signed in so you always know who has been active and when.

What it shows:

• A full list of users with their last login date and time
• Searchable and sortable — find any user instantly
• Shows "Never" for accounts that have never logged in
• Last login is also visible on each user's profile page

🕵️ User Impersonation

Lets authorised admins log in as any other user without needing their password — useful for troubleshooting, support, or testing what a specific user sees.

How it works:

• An "Impersonate" button appears in the user list for each account
• Click it to instantly switch into that user's session
• A bright yellow banner always stays visible at the bottom of the screen showing who you are impersonating
• One click switches you back to your own account at any time

📧 Email Logs

A complete record of every email sent through the application — verification emails, password resets, notifications, campaign emails, and anything else. No email goes untracked.

What it shows:

• Recipient, sender, subject, and email type (which Mailable class sent it)
• Status badge — Sent, Failed, Delivered, Opened, Clicked, or Bounced
• Exact timestamps for when the email was sent, opened, or failed
• Full HTML body preview in a sandboxed iframe on the detail page
• Failure reason for emails that could not be delivered

What admins can do:

• Search by recipient, subject, or sender
• Filter by status to quickly find failed or unopened emails
• Retry a failed email with one click — re-sends the stored HTML content to the original recipient
• Open tracking — a 1×1 invisible pixel is automatically injected into every HTML email so opens are recorded when the email is viewed

☁️ Cloud Media Storage (Amazon S3)

Instead of keeping uploaded images and files on your own server, you can store them in Amazon S3 — a reliable, scalable cloud storage service.

What you can configure:

• Switch between local server storage and Amazon S3
• Enter your S3 credentials (access key, secret, bucket name, region, and custom URL) from the admin settings panel
• No files or images are lost if your server needs to be moved or rebuilt

After enabling, go to Admin → Lara Dashboard Pro → Settings to configure backups and media storage.
